Crime Report: Harding Robbers Caught Red Handed

In the early hours of Thursday morning, 20 April 2017, a member of Harding SAPS was responding to an alarm which had been activated at a wholesaler in the town. When the officer arrived on the scene he saw that the suspects were still inside, in the process of robbing the store.

The help of Port Shepstone and Kokstad K9 Units was requested, they responded quickly and arrived on the scene shortly after. A search was conducted and one suspect was arrested on the scene. Unsure whether there were mor robbers involved, the police searched further, another two men who were found hiding under boxes in the storeroom, they were sniffed out by K9 dogs, Rocky and Max from Port Shepstone and Zoro from Kokstad.

An undisclosed amount of money was also recovered from the suspects.
