I tend to cook potatoes with garlic olive oil & dried thyme, but I add as well a sprinkle of ground cinnamon; before they go into the oven.?

We have been told repeatedly to not cook with extra virgin olive oil because it is not good for you and the heating looses the flavor anyway so we are wasting the good expensive stuff. What do you think Jamie??
