  1. I love jamie oliver. I really do. but he makes a terrible victoria sponge. had he used some self raising flour and baking powder he would have a cake. not a Frisbee.

  2. We don't have any self raising flower around here. Does anybody have any idea how much baking powder and/or baking soda I should add?

  3. I got a question. I've always thought that sometimes cakes come out too tough or crumbly because you overmix the flour and it starts forming gluten. But here Jamie used a food processor to mix up all the ingredients and it seems to have come out pretty fluffy, so what happened here? Thanks in advance 🙂

  4. The top layer of the cake looks more like a pancake to me. I always use 2 18cm sandwich tins for this mixture takes about20-25 mins in the oven and you get 2 good size layers. Also much prefer the classic jam and cream filling ( and it's probably cheaper) but I can imagine this is nice too!

  5. I would love to see how this could be made vegan. I would love to try it but don't know if it's possible. Help? Maybe make a video on that?
